Congressional Hearing Needed to Modernize U.S. Testing Methods

As u know i am a huge PETA supporter.. Even though i pronouce it as PEEE-TAH.. I still acknowledge it and the way i call it doesn't affect my support for it. Regardless of the celebrities who joined or the latest rumors about PETA being huge hypocrites. I am in doubt of all of that. I and faithful to this organisation and will post any many annoying emails about the sad animals as possible. Because i think humans are animals too... just that we are a bit more intelligent.

Heres the low down.
Innocent animals in the States get injected with shit like Botox, soon become paralyzed and suffocate, and eventually DIE. The Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Validation of Alternative Methods (ICCVAM)—has failed miserably and has, in fact, become a major obstacle to the incorporation of non-animal test methods. SO TOTALLY SUCKS. It's been around for about 10 years and all they have done is merely recommended 4 alternative test methods to these sort of agencies! And while these kooks come up with only 4, agencies in Europe has came up with like.. 12 dozen already!

PETA: The failure of the U.S. government, including ICCVAM, to reduce and replace the use of animals in toxicity testing ensures that millions of animals will continue to suffer as they are poisoned by toxic chemicals and fails to protect the public health.

PETA is calling for a congressional investigation into ICCVAM's negligence and for the creation of a new entity to oversee the implementation of the NAS recommendations. Please use the form below to contact your members of Congress about this important issue.
